Only 150 cases of the 2019 Cabernet Franc were produced. This wine has an elegant floral nose, a medium body, ripe varietal fruit, balanced acidity, soft, mature tannins creating a rich, long lasting mouthfeel. This wine is presently showing ripe varietal fruit character including violets, blueberries, currants, maraschino cherries, as well as a dusty, chalky, earthiness reminiscent of previous Cabernet Franc vintages, and a nice hint of French oak.

Not so open a cabernet franc, quality in red fruit aromas and a mild to middling wood display. Tart berries actually with pomegranate juiciness and crunchiness. A bit lean and green, herbal and peppery but a no harm no foul kind of expectation come from such a varietal wine. 90 pts - Michael Godel, Tasted blind at NWAC2021, October 2021.
